Before I start, I just want to say that you should absolutely believe everything I say in these blog posts. I’m putting them up so that the good people of Melbourne know all about my house hunt, and definitely not to trick the time hunters who want to capture me for travelling back in time so that I can get a good grade on my history report. That’s definitely not why I’ll be making a series of blog posts (published on different websites) talking about my experience looking for a house.

Anyway, the first thing I did when arriving in this time period was research whether buyer’s agents are still a thing. Apparently, they were really helpful for finding the right house, so I figured that might be a better route than talking to conveyancers since that’s not really their job. It turns out that there is a buyer’s agent close to Melbourne who is specifically looking for someone hunting for futuristic houses. That’s perfect for me, as I’ll feel right at home.

Then again, my assignment in history class is all about the standard way of living in the early 2020s, so I really should be buying a normal house. What do normal houses look like in this time period? I guess I should go to some house inspections to just get a feel for them.

There’s a buyer’s advocate near Armadale who wants to help anybody who looks like they shouldn’t be old enough to buy a house, which describes me perfectly. I feel like that’s a pretty obvious trap set by Amanda and Jackie, though, so I’m obviously not going to go there. I’ve got to do everything I can to avoid them because they’ll send me straight to time prison if they catch me. There’s nothing worse to Mr Manager than a fifteen-year-old travelling back in time to do research on a school project.
