Golly, there’s an app for everything nowadays. I was just visiting Nice on my French trip and I found myself with a real hankering for some quality brie. What’s a person to do? Well, download Brie-Tracker of course! In four minutes I was sitting down at a charming café in the picturesque square, a cup of strong French coffee in one hand and a cracker slathered in brie in the other. It was, bar none, the greatest brie I’ve ever tasted.
That’s become my standard response to whenever I need something: see if there’s an app for it. It’s become so very convenient that I really do wonder how many people are signing up for app development courses here in Melbourne. It’s something I would look into, except for the fact that I haven’t yet come across a problem that there was no app for. If I did the course I’d probably have to enter the app industry with some ideas for a killer application that would take the world by storm, and I’m just not that creative. And if so many people are doing app design, why bother? I’ll just reap the benefits.
There must be so many, with how titanic the industry is. Just yesterday I was stressing out about whether I should put my antique wardrobe in the living room or not. It’s lovely, but that’s not usually where wardrobes go, you know? I’m too young to be judged for my antique home placement. So I just looked up an app to help and found Dream Décor! An app with an endless selection of décor advice? Perfect! Back in the spare room you go, wardrobe! An app that tells you exactly what supermarkets put in their sausages? Sorted. An app designed to convert your sounds of rage into coherent speech for phone arguments? Get on mah phone!
My heartfelt thanks to all who undertake app development courses, truly. From the bottom of my heart, my thanks for making life so easy.
