I’ve always wondered how Dark Invader manages to breathe in the Space Battles movies. In the third one, we see that the galactic supervillain sustained serious injuries on an ice planet while fighting his former mentor. His body basically freezes over, preventing him from breathing properly. Dark Invader probably would have perished if not for his new master, Dark Sid, saving him and putting him in a robot suit. In the other Space Battles movies, Dark Invader is more machine than man.

I don’t know if I’m the only person that wonders this, but how does Dark Invader’s suit help him breathe better? Maybe it’s meant to have a breathing apparatus, similar to a small hyperbaric chamber. Melbourne residents recently gathered together at the Space Battles convention, and I asked everyone there what they thought about it. It turns out that most people don’t think about it, and they don’t care if there’s an actual scientific explanation or not. They say that the films are a weird blend of science fiction and fantasy, so they don’t really care about the actual reason for anything happening. It makes me so mad, as somebody who wants to know how the glowing laser swords would actually work so that I can build one.

I don’t think it’s that far fetched to imagine a portable hyperbaric system, incorporated into your clothing. Why hasn’t anybody come up with that yet? It could make a lot of money and save so many lives. Maybe I should invent it.

Alright, that’s officially my idea. None of you are allowed to steal it. The logical thing to do would be to not publish this online, for literally anyone to see, but I trust my loyal readers to do the right thing. I produce quality content for you to read, and you agree not to steal my good ideas. This one can go on the list of good ideas I have on my website, along with the machine that adds flavour seamlessly into your vanilla ice cream.
