Today I went to a conference in the heart of Melbourne, which had people from different businesses giving a summary of their work and the projects they’re tackling at the moment. It was interesting, going around to the different rooms and hearing all these unique talks. I started the day with a talk by someone who worked with solar power, which I didn’t really know anything about. By the end of the talk, I could tell you all about commercial solar systems across the Melbourne area. I’m basically an expert now, which is pretty cool.
After that, I went to a conference held by a pair of detectives, who were talking about their hunt for the infamous Glass Smashing Bandit. Apparently they had the bandit captured, but his super-powered friend broke into the vehicle and rescued him. I’m sure the completely competent detectives will be able to get the job done, though, even if they aren’t allowed to enter the town where Next Top Office is being filmed. As soon as the show is over, Schlock Homes and John Whatson will be there to capture the bandit again.
Lunch was quickly approaching, but I thought I’d stop by the Tesla show before grabbing a bite to eat. Boy, am I glad that I went to it. Allan Tusk knows his stuff. I think he might be the smartest man alive. The decision to create a new, more powerful version of the Tesla powerwall was simply brilliant. I don’t know what that is, or what it does, but it sounds really important!
For lunch, I went to the food court and got a taco, which I’d been craving all day. I got into a conversation with the restaurant owner and learned all about the history of tacos and how they’re made. I guess I was just in the zone of learning about different businesses, and I couldn’t help myself. Unfortunately, some kind security guards thought I was harassing the store owner, and they escorted me from the conference centre. Although my day was cut short, I sure had a fun time!
